The template library
Every template Rebrief writes from lives in one library. That covers note templates, letters and sheets, and the forms your clinic fills in.
Opening the library
Open Templates in the rail on the left. On a phone, it's under More.
Four tabs run across the top: All, Notes, Docs and Forms. Each tab shows how many templates it holds.
Favourites sit as cards at the top of the page. Star a template on its row to add it there, or use the Add a favourite card.
The table below lists every template. Its columns are Template, Last edited, Last used, Created by and Visible to.
- Last used is the last time you picked the template in an appointment. Opening it to edit doesn't count.
- Created by shows You, a colleague's name, Your clinic or Rebrief.
- Visible to shows Just me, Your clinic or Everyone.
To find a template, type in Search templates. The Type, Created by and Last used filters narrow the list. Select a template's name to open it.
The three kinds
- A note template is a layout for a clinical note. During an appointment, you add a note written on it from + Create. It opens as its own tab, beside the appointment's own note.
- A document template is a letter or sheet Rebrief writes for you, such as a referral. Square brackets mark a blank Rebrief fills, like
[Patient name]. Angle brackets give Rebrief an instruction, like<summarise the findings>. - A form is a paper or PDF form your clinic already uses. You upload it once, and Rebrief finds its blanks. After that, filling it in for a patient takes one step.
What you can do from a row
Each row has a star, a Duplicate button, a share button and a ⋯ menu.
- Duplicate copies the template into your clinic's templates.
- The share button puts the template on a public page other clinics can use. It works only on a template you can change. Once it's shared, the same button copies the page's link.
- The ⋯ menu holds Set as my default on a note template. On a template you can change, it also holds Visibility and Delete.
Set as my default marks one note template as yours, and the item then reads My default template. New appointments still start on a blank note.
Rebrief's own templates can't be changed. To make one yours, duplicate it, or open it and press Save my copy.
Trigger phrases
Any of your templates can have trigger phrases. Write one phrase per line, in the words your team says. In the editor for notes and documents, they go under When Rebrief offers it. A form gets its Trigger phrases once it's saved.
When a phrase comes up in an appointment, Rebrief suggests that template under Suggested for this appointment in + Create. Nothing is written until you pick it.
When you pick a suggested document, Rebrief writes it right away. A note template opens as its own tab, written from the appointment so far. A form opens in its own tab, ready to fill in.
Adding a template
Press New template and choose Note, Document or Form. Notes and documents open in the same editor. A form is read once, right after you upload it. You then check what Rebrief will write in each blank it found.
Browse community shows templates other clinics have shared, beside Rebrief's own. Use this template copies one into your library.
