Rebrief transcribes the appointment and writes the note as you talk. When you press End, it checks the note against the whole visit and fixes what it missed. Copy the note into your chart, or save a PDF on your letterhead.

Rather dictate after the appointment? Open a dictation pad and say it your way. Rebrief fixes tooth numbers and dental terms as your words land. Tell it once how you like a note worded, and it writes your notes that way from then on.

Call out probing depths, bleeding and recession as you probe. The perio chart fills in on screen. Name a tooth and what you found, and the tooth chart updates too. Charting starts when you say “start charting” or click a tooth, so numbers said in conversation don’t chart by accident. Use the probing order you already use, or draw your own.

Ask a clinical question by typing or out loud. You get the key points first, then the full answer, then its sources. Click a source to read the original. During an appointment, the answer takes into account what was said and charted, and it says so. On paid plans it can also read the patient’s earlier notes. It’s a reference to check your thinking. You make the call.

Rebrief turns the note into plain-language instructions the patient can follow at home. We call this AfterCare. It also writes referral letters, prescriptions and your clinic’s forms from the same appointment. Anything the appointment didn’t cover is left blank for you. Print it, save a PDF, or send your patient a password-protected link. Follow-ups you mention in the note become a task list you can tick off.

You can copy any note into any system. With Rebrief for Windows, Rebrief also reads your schedule and charts, and sends notes and charts back.

You can ask it to do small jobs there too, like booking an appointment or opening a chart. It tells you what it changed when it’s done. A job sent to a computer where an appointment is going on waits until the appointment ends.
