Help Center · The Windows app and your practice software

Supported practice-management systems

2 min read

Rebrief works with your practice software through the Windows app. Clinics install it on the computer where their practice software runs. Here's the practice software Rebrief works with today.

On a Windows computer

These run on a computer in your clinic. Install the Windows app on that same computer.

  • Open Dental
  • Dentrix
  • Eaglesoft
  • AbelDent
  • Tracker, by The Bridge Network
  • MaxiDent, by Maxim Software Systems

In your web browser

Medesync, by TELUS Health, runs in Chrome or Edge. Keep it open in a browser tab on the computer that has the Windows app. Rebrief reads the schedule from that tab.

Patient charts

Rebrief reads patient charts in three of these today:

  • Open Dental: After each calendar sync you start, Rebrief reads the chart of every patient it brought in, up to 15 at a time: the latest tooth chart, the last three perio charts, and chart notes from the last two years.
  • Tracker: When you press Resync patient on an appointment, Rebrief reads the latest tooth chart, and notes and documents from the last two years. It doesn't read perio charts yet.
  • MaxiDent: When you press Resync patient on an appointment, Rebrief reads notes and documents from the last two years. It doesn't read tooth charts or perio charts yet.

Not on the list?

You can use Rebrief without connecting your practice software. Notes, charting and templates all work on their own. When a note is done, copy it into your software.

If Rebrief sees software it doesn't support yet, it names the program and says it doesn't support it yet. That's different from finding no practice software at all.

Tell us what you use. Email hello@rebrief.ai, or use Help & support in Rebrief.

Which plans include it

The Windows app comes with every paid plan. Starter, the free plan, is Rebrief in your web browser. It doesn't connect to practice software.
