Inviting staff

Invite a colleague by email. They create their own login and join your clinic, with their own notation and probing order.

Note: Only the clinic admin or an organization owner can invite. If Team isn't in your Settings, ask your clinic admin to send the invite.

Send an invite

1. Open Settings, and under Clinic choose Team.
2. Under Invite a colleague, type their Name. It's optional.
3. Type their Email address.
4. Press Send invite.

A line confirms the invite was sent to that address. The invite then waits under Waiting to accept until your colleague accepts it.

Check the address before you send. The invite only works for the email you typed, and your colleague can't change it.

If the invite doesn't go out

• A user with this email already exists. That address already has a Rebrief account, so no invite is sent. Contact Rebrief through Help & support if they need to join your clinic.
• The email couldn't be sent. Rebrief shows the invite link with Copy link. Send the link to your colleague yourself. It works for 7 days.
• Every seat on your Enterprise plan is taken. The form closes and offers Add seats. The article on managing your team explains seats.

What your colleague does

Your colleague gets an email with a link to your clinic. The link works for 7 days, and only once.

1. They open the link. Accept your invite opens, with their email filled in.
2. They type their full name.
3. They create a password of at least 8 characters.
4. Under Default notation, they pick FDI or Universal.
5. Under Default probing protocol, they pick Maxillary first, Facials first or Custom order. Custom order isn't offered on a phone.
6. They press Accept invite.

Rebrief creates their login, adds them to your clinic and opens the Scribe page.

Their notation and probing order are theirs alone. They can change them later in Settings, under Charting.

Note: If someone else is signed in on that browser, accepting the invite signs that person out first.

If the link doesn't work

• This invite link has expired or already been used. Send a new invite from Team.
• This clinic has no free seats right now. On Enterprise, every seat filled up before your colleague accepted. Add a seat, then your colleague opens the same link again.
